E-Dubs was kind enough to send us this little post on his very recent trip to Brazil:

well what can i say… rio was an absolut thrill! the beach, the sites… everything was really cool. i met a lot of really cool people on this trip from all parts of the world (just the way i prefer), which made it pretty difficult 2 leave. on the other hand, i did take off my “tourist eyes” after a couple of days 2 see the “real rio”, which isn’t all sandy beaches… but in all my trip was something i really needed. the reason 4 going, un4tunately, wasn’t completely accomplished, but it’s a tremendous start, which is better than nothing. and with that start, i can safely say that i know i can “finish”. i felt a lot of “layers” being peeled away while i was there and, of course, there is an even bigger chunk that i have 2 acknowledge and tackle that was revealed…

i don’t mean 2 sound like an advertant enigma, but 4 those of u who really know me, u’ll know how mportant privacy is… and how mportant (at the same time) it is 2 let u know how “it’s going”…

anyway, here’s a link 2 some of the pictures i took while i was there. there was only 1 tourist site i went 2 the ntire time i was there. there would have been more touristy stuff, but it rained the last 5 days i was there, making it difficult 2 get motivated 2 stand in the rain and take pictures of things. that and bcause of the rapid dcrease in temperature, i got really sick 4 about 3 days, but so did most of rio.

the pictures here r the 1s i wanted people 2 see, so njoy!

rio de janeiro
rio de janeiro 2
rio de janeiro 3

and if u’re REALLY bored, there r a couple of random videos if u follow the link above the page labeled “iDisk Graphite..” something…

Thanks!
