I was very sad to read the news that Tower Records is going bankrupt. Fiquei muito triste ao ler a notícia de que a Tower Records está indo à falência. Tower, which began in Maryland in the US had been a staple for me when I was in middle and high school. Torre, que começou em Maryland, em os E.U. tinha sido um grampo para mim quando eu estava na escola média e alta.
It was one of those few places that was open late, and didn't require an ID (like all of the bars in the US). Foi um dos poucos lugares que foi aberto até mais tarde, e não requerem um ID (como todos os bares em os E.U.). I know that we made frequent trips to Tower late at night when we had nothing to do. Something was up, I knew, when they shut down the Tower in Piccaddily Circus (London) and replaced it with a Virgin store. tower was sweet cuz you can spend hours there listenibg to the sample cds… and once your done with that, you can move over to the magazines… cuz torre era doce você pode passar horas lá listenibg à amostra cds ... e uma vez que seu feito com isso, você pode passar para as revistas ...
