Thanks for the contrib. I can’t post on lifehacker.com, but I thought I’d just point out the way the Google Earth functionality works in FoxClocks, since there were issues: on the main FoxClocks window, choose a time zone in the tree on the left hand side, and either right-click and choose ‘Google Earth…’ in the context menu, or double-click to open the Zone Properties window, where you’ll find a ‘Google Earth…’ button. Under Windows and Mac, Google Earth should launch (if necessary) and take you to the major city in the zone. Unfortunately it doesn’t work under Linux - that’s a limitation of the ‘launch external application’ functionality in the Mozilla framework.

It’s great for those of us who use both Mac and Windows. Between traveling through a bunch of time zones and keeping in touch with friends from school + varying DSTs, this plugin is a must for the laptop road warrior.
Great plugin, I’ll have to play around more with the Google Earth capability.
