It is that time - SUMMER CONCERTS!!!!
I got my tickets today for MUSE (august 6) and THE WHITE STRIPES (July 24) at madison sqaure garden. I am more stoked about muse - their live shows constantly win them awards and I have waited a long time for them to finally play the garden. That show is the monday before the wedding - anil, let me know if you are game for it. I am also going to be seeing TODD SNIDER on OCTOBER 26. If you dont know about him, look him up and thank me later. Anyone else been to a show or going to a show? Anyone seeing the POLICE or GENESIS????? Anyone see dylan - I heard he sucks live. Post all concert related stuff - let us know which shows to see and which ones to skip. Thanks!

Went to go see Arcade Fire last Friday - was a damn good show. Next I’m gonna try to score some Arctic Monkeys tickets

I went to see Dylan ten years ago and it was horrible. Could not understand a thing…but hey it WAS Dylan!
Beware regardless…his language cannot have improved!

Arcade Fire was good? I am having a hard time jumping on that bandwagon. The songs are just so much fluff, not enough substance for me. Very layered and I cannot understand what the lead singer is saying half of the time. I bought funeral and that it was a better than average album, mostly because U2 used “wake up” to open their concerts. I hope rage against the machine does a full tour. Audioslave wasn’t that great - but keep your eyes open for the new Cornell solo record!
BLOWING LOADS!

@ fred:
I had my doubts about A.Fire - but they def delivered on the energy and gave a great show. There are like 25 people on stage in that band (seems like) and despite the shit venue (Constitution Hall), it was good all around.
@ jeffer:
I remember the Dylan show I went to - he opened and I missed some of the beginning, but seeing all of those aged hippies drugged out and dancing all around in a trance was PRICELESS.
