It’s getting easier to smoke pot in the Netherlands than it is to find a country where you can light a cigarette up inside. Those of you smokers looking for international travel that won’t dent your nicotine habit can check Ash.org/intltravel.
The site gives you a list of countries that are smoker-friendly (China and Japan for example), where you can smoke (i.e. trains, restaurants) and who to complain to if you can’t.
I’d recommend starting with the top smoking countries in the world, bring your cigarettes with you to save money, and think about smoking tobaccless if all else fails.

AWESOME. i always wondered if there was a comprehensive resource for this type of information. i’ve found myself to naturally be drawn to traveling to smoker-friendly countries (or states, or cities). why reward a locality with thousands of dollars in revenue when they’ve decided to thumb their noses at your personal liberties? if they don’t like my kind around there, i’d rather not give them my money. thanks ayoop!

I agree - I think it’s a decision that should be left up to businesses. If they don’t want smokers in their bar or restaurant, then fine.
In the end it’s the same as choosing not to sell alcohol. If they feel inviting smokers can increase sales they should allow smoking.
Let the consumers decide.
