The Budget Traveller’s Guide to Sleeping In Airports lists the top 10 best and worst airports around the world.
Singapore, Hong Kong, and Seoul Incheon top the list (Istanbul is 8th). In general, the best airports are in Asia, while Europe and North America (Paris, New York (JFK) LAX) don’t fare so well. The results are a very non-scientific polling of their online readers.
I’d have to agree with most of the list - Asian airports seem designed to better handle the masses, whereas American airports are all function, no style. Since flight delays are at their worst in 13 years, chances are you’ll be spending a night at some point of you travels. Scope the best place in every airport to make the most of it.
