According to last weeks' poll, the majority of you are planning on traveling the world one day and Po zadnjih tednih ankete, večina od vas se načrtovanje na potovanju po svetu en dan in some nekaj of you vas will be bo leaving soon zapustijo kmalu . . Unfortunately many people who makes plans to travel the world never do and, as they say, “life gets in the way.” This list is only a beginning, I'd like for you to add to it with some helpful comments where you find it lacking – but here are 7 reasons you won't travel the world. I don't want to be negative or pessimistic so later this week I'll examine how to overcome these obstacles (and the ones you add) so that you can, really travel the world either as part of a round the world trip or extended global journey. Related to point 1, some of my friend have said that they fear taking a career break as they would not be able to return to a similar position when they return (assuming of course that that is still what they want to do when they return). It's especially tough if you like your job – which may or may not be waiting for you when you return. To je še posebej težka, če imaš rad svoje delo -, ki so lahko ali pa ne čaka, ko se vrnete.

You are so busy in life that you don't have time. Ti si tako zaposlena v življenju, da nimate časa.
It's hard to leave the 'real world'! Težko je zapustiti "resnični svet"!
That's me many years ago. To me je pred mnogimi leti. I always had an excuse. Vedno sem imel izgovor. . . . . Usually it was because I had joined another band and had to buy more gear! Običajno je bilo, ker sem se pridružile druge pasu in je bilo za nakup več orodje!
At least they were cool excuses in my book! Vsaj so kul izgovori v moji knjigi!
What? Kaj?
Point 1. Točka 1. You don't get holidays? Ne dobim počitnice?
2. 2. It's called saving! To imenujemo prihranek!

7. 7. Set a date and a savings plan. Nastavi datum in prihrankov načrta.
These are all excuses not reasons! To so vse izgovori ni razlogov! Fear of the unknown is usually more the problem. Strah pred neznanim je ponavadi bolj problem. My In-Laws had never traveled so we took them with us (point 4) now they hardly stay at home (except for point 2). Moj V-laws nikoli potoval tako smo jih z nami (točka 4) Sedaj se komaj ostanejo doma (razen za točki 2).
Straight to the point, I like that. Naravnost do točke, mi je všeč. I think most people who have these reasons (or excuses) would love to play devil's advocate. Mislim, da večina ljudi, ki so teh razlogov (ali izgovorov) bi radi igrajo devil's advocate. I think fear of breaking routines is a big part of the problem. Mislim, da je strah pred zlom rutino je velik del problema.
On top of that saving money for a significant time is hard for a lot of people. Na vrhu, da prihranimo denar za pomembno časovno je težko za veliko ljudi. Doesn't have to be though. Ni treba, da je vseeno.
