Squeeze Your PC in to a Mini

January 22, 2007 by Anil P.

I’ve finally gotten my Mac mini up and running – so now what to do with my old PC? I’ll be keeping mine (geekdom requires it), however there are many of you out there that have bedrooms that don’t need to resemble a scene from the Matrix.

If you move around quite a bit the mini will save you hassle and shipping fees. The best thing to do is to buy Parallels for Mac ($79) which lets you run Windows side by side on your Mac. Just back up your stuff from the old PC, move it over to your mini and then donate your old machine.

How many of you Mac users have been in this situation? What did you end up doing with your old PC…oh, and have any good software to recommend, let’s say to download music?? ;)

What is the return policy for the mini?
    Hold on to your PC!
I am sure it is a good toy, enjoy.

The return policy is 30 days I think…but I am starting to use the Mac more and more…a nice OS, though it is nice having both.

If I weren’t such a geek I’d switch Mac all the way!
