I only sign up for frequent flyer miles for free flights or upgrades. Though I’d like to say to United Airlines, this is crap!
Members of United Airlines? Mileage Plus frequent-flier program have been warned that accounts will now expire after only 18 months of inactivity, in a reduction designed to reward loyal customers.
Account holders who have not earned or redeemed air miles since July 1, 2006, have until the end of 2007 to either use their accumulated miles, or amass more, to keep their membership active.
