If you have an unlocked GSM phone, you can purchase a Maxroam SIM card that lets you make (up to) 90% discounted international phone calls.

The upfront cost is around $40 (comes with $10 credit), and you can calculate how much you’ll need to call each country. Maxroam also works outside of the US and is a good way to make cheap call back home.

If you don’t have an unlocked phone, you can crack a Nokia very easily even if you don’t know the security code.
