Comedian Simon Pegg is set to be Scotty in the next Star Trek film. It turns out that Matt Damon will not be the next Kirk, Chris Pine will be.

Eric Bana is also on board, and Leonard Nemoy will have a cameo. Does this cast inspire you or did you prefer the original proposed cast?
